I'm toying with the idea of fitting coilovers and have found these on ebay -

Anyone got any thoughts or experiences they would like to share???

I don't think the rears are height adjustable with the FK kits, even though that looks like it is :|
Jim
This suspension setup is top quality adjustable from
40mm - 70mm.
The kit is not adjustable at the rear axle for the types Corsa

On corsa sport they have a rolling group buy for FK coilovers. Quite a good saving on the shop prices as well. Those FK's are not worth it they are a budget kit, i have a highsport kit on my corsa and the ride is very very good, it does not crash over bumps and it does not roll much. I have a mixture of gaz and leda on my nova and while the leda stuff is what i would class as the ultimate the gaz stuff is not half bad at all and they can make you what you want as well.

iirc knoigsports are "fully" adjustable where as high sports are only height adjustable
the FK AK's are budget kit and seen as they are priced very close to normal suspension kits they probably arent any better (or perhaps not as good as) a normal decent kit from the likes of bilstien
i thought the fk one's are coilover front, but standard style setup on the back, with a adjustable rear spring plate or somthing

Joff, i have the highsport kit on my Nova, its a good kit, handles great and feels good too. However where the two bolts go on the bottom of the shock, there is the top and bottom hole.
The top hole is oval and not round, allowing camber adjustment, which is a bit shit as mine moved whilst thrashing the car round the nurburgring, causing the wheel to collapse in on the coilover and run on the tyre.
I have them out now and i'm welding a washer in on the top hole so it doesnt budge anymore, and keep it in a standard position.

Keith, what kinda money are yours, i want something to keep the car tight on the road but not too bouncy either, are they Damper adjustable or just ride height?
