now ive got the scoob i needed a cheap runabout so i picked up this van for 100 quid,

its a 2.0 8v gte van basically, its got everything from the astra car but in a van, its a bit manky and extreamly rotten, but it gives me a chance to practice my welding,

its been lowered too but im going to a load of neatening up work on it,

this is how wide the standard astra arch is

hmmmmmmmmmm a GTE van i like the sound of that :D

you've done some good work on it mate, what car are those rear arches from, and i'm guessing you going to put some wide wheels on it, or are you just lowering it to the deck?

well not much more to look at today, but i took the arch back off again and removed all the rot from the inner arch, getting good at this welding now, not as easy as it looks on an old rotten van lol,

the arches are from a mk1 golf lol,

im sposed to be getting a set of 17'' multispokes painted in black for it for cheap, im making some big spacers for it too to widen the track at the rear,

still got loads of welding to do yet but its coming allong,

the 15s look tiny under the new arches now lol. and its lowered

yeah thats a nova being built too,

its having my old 2.0 8v on 45s my old 6 point cage and my old buckets and harnesses,

basically the lad baught all my old rally stuff and is spending a lot of time and effourt fitting it, having the HH strengthening kit welded in at the mo and the cage fitted properly too,

its going to be what mine wanted to be, all in a mint shell too, not even a bubble of rust in the boot floor either
