I keep throwing money at my nova to keep it alive but hardly get chance to drive it.

It's a 1.5 TD and i can sorta afford to insure a faster car.

This is it

Was thinkin is it worth trying to sell it as it is or maybe sell bits off it- be quite hard to sell as standard- although it is my pride and joy so keep going with it.

Just thought it might be cheaper in the long run just to buy like an astra GTE or something and not have to keep worrying about it.

Opinions....

Cheers,
Kieron

an astra GTE will be just as old, just as problematic and just as rusty.

at the end of the day, if you enjoy driving it and really enjoy owning the car, then keep it.

if you've had enough sell it and get something "faster"

It's a personnel desiciion, speed isn't everything

would love to valver it but its a diesel so it'd be a huge job and can't find anyone to do it reasonably enough

as said above. its a personal choice when it comes to it.

if the shell is bad, and you dont want to keep trying to restore it. sell it and let someone else continue with it

Shell is pretty much sorted now few little rough areas but mostly solid little hole under neath near footwells i gotta get welded up.

Only real mess is wiring behind the dash guy before me had played with it and made a right mess of it- could do with finding someone to sort it but think an auto electrician would just laugh at me if i showed him it.

cable ties are a nova's best friend.
:D

from the sound of things, there really aint too much money needed to be spent on it.
so just keep it running on the road then.
