you like understeer?

IMO (and a lot of others too) the ARB does more harm than good on the front end of a nova. look in the articles section at the top of the forum about the ARB debate.

the car will be skittish and will want to go in a s traight line more. not always preferred

i dont think it would be any thing as bad as it is now it goes where it wants when it wants and all the front suspension parts inc bushes have been changed

erm.......

oppostie to oversteer (arse end out)

its sometimes called "push", where you steer into a corner at say 10 degrees but the car travesl round at 3 degrees. ie straight on (in the simpleset expression)

stuart already has mate, the antiroll bar can be detrimental to the handling with uprated suspension when driven hard, and i'm sure you wont drive it any harder than most of us who have thrown ours in the bin and use our cars on track. The best arb needed if you really want understeer as said is the gte/gsi item.

That link is to a thread started yrs ago regarding the arb removal and the pro's towards doing it, have a read and make your own mind up.

What id the difference in the GSi and SRi Anti Roll bars anyway?

My old XR3 had shit loads of Torque steer, was great fun to drive but caused a few Brown moments too though!!

corsa one is a different shape, novas ones are dirty cheap to get hold of. I have two i need rid of for a start. Plus like said before you dont need it, most the people on here that do tack days including myself dont run one.

GSI/GTE and SRi are the same, SR one's are slightly thinner
