Anyone else think this series of top gear has been a bit poor? I'm getting a little tired of Hammond crawling up Clarksons arse all the time. Prime example was last night with that Alfa. Clarkson said it was the nicest looking car at the moment and Hammond was there nodding like a little puppy dog. It was ok, wouldn't have said it was the nicest looking car at the moment.

and why on earth didn't they take the DBRS round the track ionstead of the DBR ?

I think top gear is one of the better programmes on telly. Ok they spout some bollox buts surely thats the point - they mean to be controversial and funny with it. To be fair they do at least have the guts to say what they think which is quite refreshing these days with all this political correctness crap going on everywhere.
Hammond's only in there to get the women watching and anyway who takes any notice of someone who needs a booster seat to drive a car? :lol:
But at the end of it all they are all enthusiasts which is what counts - anyone notice Clarkson lowering his window to listen to the noise of the SLR engine as he went through a tunnel? Only a true petrol head would do that!

Theres a lot of cars that they show "inside" the set which dont get runs on the track. The Aston will be only one of a few fully built cars, so they dont want to chance stacking it for the sake of a little test. Im sure as soon as theres a production of them, they'll get one to take out and play with.

there was a SLR at the dealership i work at the other week, the good thing about that was the bybass along side the dealership, they sound fantastic tearing down a bybass
