just looking for some info on these cars, as i am looking to buy one!
do these nova's have power steering, electric windows etc

No, you dont need to strengthen it for the Gsi Engine. I've not got mine strengthened and I'm running more bhp than the Gsi unit with this 1.6 engine.

A strut brace will be fine.

ypou only really need a strengthing kit when puting a xe or a turbo in the car! cause except for that little plate in the engine bay they all the same :D

They leak from underneat throught the special air holes that grow when water touchs any part of the car

It was only the gsi and gte's that came with the carpet on the underside of the bonnet. All my mates's nova sr's never had the carpet on the underside of the bonnet and neither did my brother's old 1.2.
