jus fitting the springs to ur standard shocks is ok for the mot, for the use its ok aswell, altho u can feel every bump on the roads.
mines jus on springs and standard shocks, til i get my coilovers to. and nout has gone wrong, jus like i sed bout the bumps.

How do Nath! :D

Springs will be fine aslong as they're fitted correctly and don't cause or pose any problems. i.e tyre catching on the wheel arches if it's too low etc etc.

If the standard dampers extend too far and the rear springs fall out its an instant fail.
Don't lower more than 40mm on standard shocks.
