i was about to post "classic fm" lol

i had it on yesterday and today in the workshop as i didnt wnat to hear anything of Live 8. Its amazing how much classical stuff is used in "modern" music. V good station IMO
Vibe Fm in east anglia used to be good when glen white did remixes etc but now its just rubbish bar nikkis hard house thing on fridays

It was an Esprit I believe, not an Elise.

I can't stand local radio stations because they play nothing but adverts and have a play list of about 5 songs. Mark and Lard were not the best, but better than Sarah Cox and Cock Mills. Vernon Kay and Spoony are the best presenters on Radio 1. I don't really listen to the radio much, but listening to classic fm was a nice change wasn't it Stu :)

We were there with our pipe and slippers, lol, talking of days gone by, lol.

i agree with u lot mark n lard were shit. i used to listen to them years ago and they still did the same jokes five years on.

chris moyles is alright,

sarah cox is shit, sounds like a stoner , the mumbling hag!

we have galaxy 105 round here but thats a bit pap, same old tunes, same old adverts.

infact i cant think of a radio station i really like, the local hospitals got the best one with dj dermatitas and mc gastric.

radio 1's p1ss - we used to have it on at work over the summer and after about 3 weeks of listening to car park carch phrase (which is still going!) and the conatant repetiotion of songs (we ran a sweep stake for cash on which song came up next - you could predict it!) I stopped listening.

the only decent bits on radio 1 are Pete Tong, Dave Pearce and Colin and Edith although Jo Willie's pretty fit - in a radio sense.

I recall the days when Steve Wright was on radio1 from 2 to 5 - just after Gary Davies mid to late 80's - now that was funny "MR SPOONS!" - feckin brilliant!

Still hear Steve Wright on radio 2...

Me Old - feck off!

In the late 80s the factory I was working in had a mass vote for the radio to be played thru the tannoy system for a couple of hours in the morning.....

Ya know what we got ..? Jimmy bluddy Young and his cooking tips or current affairs - all you could hear was a bumbling over the machinery...it didnt last long tho , as we were then invited to bring tapes in ..mine never got played - I didnt realise so many people hated Slayer.......Eventually the whole system was stopped - except for christmas carols....

The late Mr John Peel. That was radio.

Bugger me, i used to listern to Mark and Lard when they did the late night show on Radio 1, that was when i was at school :o , they used to get away with alot of things.

Radio has got better after the Zoe ball and Sara Cox breakfast shows. anyway, i always tune in to VibeFM, number 1 for Dance music in the East of england!
