The thing about modifyed cars is that you do it for the love of the car and getting it how you want it. You will never (almost anyway) get your money back or even come close. Not unless you get some nutter who REALLY REALLY wants the car.

Its a beautiful car.....keep it 8)

I always thought your car had a bigger engine than a 1.4. Id say if it has been resprayed fully and leather aswell. Your looking at about 2 grand at the most. To be honest. It doesnt really appeal to anyone it isnt powerful and it's to expensive for anyone who wants a kitted up nova. That is my honest opinion and i do like the car so im not slating it.

If you've put all the hard work into it i say you should keep it. Tis a shame doing all that and then letting someone else have it

I know we all have to move on but it is nice :)

Need to sell so not really got an option of keeping it which is sad as i need the space in the garage for the coswold and to leave it outside all the time would invite people to try an steal/damage it plus the weather would get at it quicker

could have xe'd it but kept the engine size small so younger folk could insure it when i came to sell it

will be a big shame to see her go after the 16+ months work on her but the cosworth calls lol

If your selling it wat you want for it is more the point in your eyes then what perople will offer on here if you say you want 5000k for it lots of peeps might be like thats crazy but there is always one person that will come along and thoink its worth as much in there eyes as it is in yours

I,m thinking of parting company with my bus at the moment - it looks pretty good for its age n all that ...BUT yours is a seriously nice car mate.
Its never gonna fetch what it cost to complete , but sometimes its not all about money. youve given the car a second chance rather than rotting away and I,m sure looking like it does you,ll have no problem selling it..like you say you need the space and the weather loves an aging car ...
I,d try a specialist magazine and get whatever you can for it - but if that doesnt work , I,ll give you a couple of hundred for it and a straight swop for a 1.2 merit ( yeah right !)...lol

GOOD LUCK WITH THE SALE.
