need a photo of the alternator lowering brakets (preferably next to a std item) for the small block 8V engine.

This is all i could find!
You can see its basically a standard one upside down and reversed. best way is to get a plate of metal, bolt it to engine faceing down, and bolt the altenator to it about 2 " lower than standard.
Sorry, i'm as good as explaining as tightenin bolts ;)

ive got 1 of those brackets. The v-belt was fouling the lower mounting bolt when i first fitted it so i made some spacers and used longer bolts to mount it to the block. It now sits further back with loads of clearance. just bare it in mind. :wink:
