yeah mate - id love to lower more than the 30 -35 thats already been done , but the rides as stiff as heck now ( and bedford roads are lunar ) and to be honest, funds and the boss would go mad..... when i had the p1 shocks fitted the garage erks did so much damage to the rear sill ( bad jacking )- well lets just say its a sensitive subject also I only aim to keep it for another 18 months max( could be more if me isa,s fail ) so.......time for an astra ( this is my first motor -love it but must push things foward)
As for the seats ...cheapie covers - and blimey are they shockers - get out of the car and zap - the static is mental.
Brought this bus from a teacher ( I,m 3rd owner ) - I dont think the rear seats had even been used .......
HAVE NOW THO

Same colour as chunks new one?
looks sound mate the only thing am not a fan of is
1 the arial (sp) needs to be a retractable one
2 the wind difflectors on the wipers
3 the bum stops on the doors
but thats my opion other than that looks smart i seem to really like this colour tho
the colours great, the wheels are great, but the the door protecter things are just wrong and lower it

Looks nice. I few more choice mods and it'll be a whole lot better. Put the original ariel back on at elast it can be pushed down them. Defo needs to go lower. And if your on a budget seat covers look ten times better anytime.

thanks for the comments peeps - yep i agree with all of em - this weekend the ariel will go - i,m considering dropping him a bit more .The P1 kit thats on there at the moment has only a 30mm drop and as I,m on a budget I cant really afford to splash on another kit...so do you think it,d be ok to use a spring replacement kit only ( on ebay for ?60 ) and how low should i go ?? I,ve had a mother of all time with the rear arches and rubbing ( wheels are correct ofset ) which resulted in the arches ground down then sealed and new tyres to stop the dreaded rub.......what dya reckon...?
cheers - Oz.
3 the bum stops on the doors

Gonna grab me a pair of gte front seats , then a new set of covers - i,m more than fed up of getting bloomin shocks every time i get out of me motor......I,d install a c.b - if it wasnt for the ugly twigs you need to run the damn things.... so T - MOBILE WILL HAVE TO SUFFICE.

dont call me rubber ducky......got those gte seats in...bloomin stupid of me at 5.11 to put seats in with a bad back , but theyre quite comfy( were filthy mind) and feel supportive ( driving one squeeks a bit ) now me backs killin me.The seats already had brackets welded to em , but i still used the the orignials over the top so the seats solid , alas the side base of the frame wouldnt sit to the floor and is about one inch proud off the floor due to a cross member in the cars flooring , the rear of the seats "hook" is located fine - but ..is this a problem mot time ??
