getting a 1.6 get engine 4 my nova just wondered if i can use the same manifold for the weber twin 40's as i use at the moment on my 1.4sr???

if your running the standard SR head , then no.

The SR head has small square inlet ports, and the 1.6 head has nice round ports.

however if your curruently running a 1.4 SRi head then yes the manifold would fit.

depends what 1.6 he is getting, the GTE will have diffferent ports as said, but the cav 1.6 should be the same ports as the sr.

aye that's what i made of it.

i don't know precisely how far out the 1.4 ports are to the 1.6 ports, but i'd imagine it would be ALOT of effort to port the manifold to match the 1.6 head.
