Oil thickner didnt sort out this problem

Well the engine was making some strange noises which we thought was the tappets at high temp, so put in some oil staberliser (thinkner stuff)

Guess it want the tappets after all:

Worst of all it went in practice so didnt even get a chance to race,

bugger.

So im now after a 1400 8v vaux engine if anyone has one for sale cheap (but good nick) pm or email michael@mkrb.co.uk - will put a post in wanted too(engine only)

Do you recon liquid metal will sort this out, :D :D :D

You can BUILD an engine using liquid metal :lol:

Some serious engine issues you have there bud :!: Don't think oil treatment will help lol

Ive seen quite a few 1400's do that lately, ah well at least it went out in style
