theres always problems with my nova, but now i might need a new shell :x

i thought my nova was ook when i bought it but close up theres lots of work that needs doing like front and rear panel, the boot floor needs straightening, rear arch and drivers side sill,i can either spend money on repairing the nova i have now or would it be easier getting a better nova, theres loads of 1.2s about, so it would just mean i swap everything from my old nova on to the new one

Well id price out how much it would cost to fix ur nova and then go have a look what u can buy for that money. If u can find a better shell for the money then go for it if not just repair your current one.

i've got a bloke from the bodyshop at work having a look at the car in a few weeks

Well have a look yourself by making a list of what needs doing then price up how much replacement panels are and how much labour cost maybe roughly and go see what you can find. And i came to the same decision as you last October with my sr and went and bought a clean gsi with the money it would have cost to repair my sr.

But the chances of finding a mint condition shell are low, very low.
