Changing cambelt, should i change the waterpump?

Someone told me that a new belt stresses the pump more, so you should change it.
My 1200 needs the cambelt doing, and i am going to have a go myself, any tips? :)
and should the pump be changed as well whilst i am at it.

probably best to change it, but you will probably get away with just changing the seal

I will probably just change the pump as i got to move it anyway.
