would a centre exhaust pipe off a 1.0 or a 1.2 fit a 1.3 or a 1.4
I know that the GSI and probs the GTE need a CAT and they wouldnt fit.
Far as i remmember a my old 1.0 and my old 1.3sr had manifolds that seperated behind the radiator. is this right? are the exhausts interchangeable?

I know that the 1.3 downpipe will fit onto a 1.2 system.
cos i fitted a 1.3 manifold & downpipe to my original 1.2. I then fitted a rebored (1400cc) engine and it was easily up to the job.

only late gsi (c16se) and SRi's had the cat

i always thought the gsi/gte and sr's exhaust was the same and the 1.0 and 1.2 we're different

yep i believe the sr gte and gsi all have same downpipe and cast manifold i think. i also thought the fitted onto other nova's but check with someone

1.0 is totally different to the OHC engines as its not a cross flow unit and the zrost manifold is on the rear

1.3 and 1.4sr are the same

GTE is different again

yea i wondered y the 1.0 exhaust came out the block weird coz i saw a pic of the downpipe n it was really strange looking
