i never knew that, my mate got a 1275 tunned to 90bhp and that flys a xe wud proepr fly!

When I worked at Taunton there, one of the helldesk geeks put an XE in his mini. And a mate of mine has been quoted ?2k for a 1600 VTEC engine ready to fit to his mini (doesn't include the labour to fit it tho!)

Personally I'd rather put some jam in the boot.

there was a mini going round that had Throttle bodies and a turbo on an XE ages ago. I never saw any finished pics of it though, but I bet that flew and sounded amazing!

ive gone one better two r1 engines around 130bhp each making it 260 bhp of motorbike engine

What gets me people will do anything to a mini they so durable engine wise and can do out you want to them! theres not really another car that this happens to!

oh yeah forgot to meantion there was mini with a mr2 turbo lump at USC last year. It almost wheeled off the lights and was getting low 12s on its first time out.

would love to see that would look well mean! in this months of banzai there is a datsun 1000 with a rx-7 supercharged engine in it and its does 1/4 mile in like 8.5secs its well mean aswell!

The mini with two r1 engines was doing high nines then if you stuck a turbo on them both they would run high 7s or low tens
