mpg

hello,

I'm new to this forum (well becoming a member anyway) so i'd just like to say hello lar de dar and all that.

I was just wondering if any of you lot know what MPG i would get from a 1.2nova or the 1.3sr nova any help would be greatly appricated.

I've started a new job which is a 50mile round trip and the old pug's abit of a guzzeler.

1.2 should see you about 40ish mpg if its in good nick, 1.2i a little more. All depends on how heavy your foot is though :wink:

not really sure just watch the gauage always going down then fill up again and dont really know lol

I had a 1.2 mk2 merit and could fill her up for ?30 and get 400 to a tank if I drove sensibly - which I did on occasion. Average was 350.

Used to do 50 mile round trip and would fill up pretty much every week or so.

My SR used to get nearer 40, although it aint running right now i get more like 25-30 :o

my 1.2 carbed Mk2 used to get between 11mpg and 50mpg depending on the length of the run and how digital i was with the throttle lol.

ohh for a car that will do more than 25.7mpg

83.9 a gallon? where are you getting petrol from?!? :lol:

lol best I've managed from the Celica was 360 miles in one tank (and i mean one tank, it rolled onto the petrol forecourt in Cheltenham :lol:) - on a 14.95 gallon tank (68 litres) thats 24mpg... my mates 306 GTi-6 does 280 miles to a tank (60 litres, 13.2 gallons) which equates to 21mpg!!

Altho on pug run we managed something silly like 4mpg :lol:

usually 45mpg out of my 1.6 on runs..... mmm 72mph on cruise control :lol:
