yeah it is a lovely little motor, need 2 paint drivers door, and do 2 rust scabs and it will be as good as mint like, been well looked after, 8)

2ltr brakes, buckets, magnex (if i find 1 used) and a GSi engine in near future :P

u think i should keep them bumpers or get a GSi kit and skirts and do them white? :?

Get a gsi front bumper and skirts and do them black and do the wheels black. Will look good with the white paint.

also about to say same thing.

i would consider looking at things such as.

wear on seat bolster
wear on steering wheel.
look at the gear shift lever cover. usually splits later in life.
look at the carpets, do they look worn.

give te engine a good look over, if the mile age is geniune, then a cam belt change should have been done recently.

give it a good look over. better to be safe then sorry.

I remember him sayin it was a gte interior, gsi sterring wheel, and im sure the gear shifter will have been changed so no luck there.

i believe the mileage is genuine 4 the folloowing reasons,

- full service history
- no wear on steering wheel
- bolster is fecked, but front seats aren't original
- underneath car is SOLID
- no signs of high mileage anywhere

if the mileage aint genuine then it's close to it by the looks of it, the car is clean as!!

Well it doesnt matter anyway. If it goes bang just fit another engine. It's an excuse to fit a bigger engine

mileage dont really arse me as the car is solid,

and the engine and brakes are being replaced anyways, suspension is a full spax kit, and the exhauist will be a full stainless steel jobbie :P

so most of the things on the car will be as new, or better. i just want a really tidy sleeper style GSi engined nova to take to PV next year, lol
