when im driving at times, mostly when ive stopped totally and set off again... or if i change gear early from 1st-2nd..

my cars just doesnt accelearte except move slowly and jump back to forward like there is no power getting to it or something is stopping it, then i av to push down the clutch accelate to bout 5tousnad revs and realse it and off i go..

anyone else experainced this problem or might know what it is?

its a 16v, and ive just recently had the gasket done, still some oil/water mix in pipes and tank as it didnt all come out first time... could this be affecting it?

Sounds like its not firing right, i had this trouble with the plugs getting wet in an XR3 i had, what was wrong was road water getting in and not sparking right. You running carbs or injection?

does it run fine when its cold and get worse as it warms up?

icv wouldnt cause it to run shit udner throttle

it would cause it to stall but thats not what he says is happening

do u have the management light connected and if so is it coming on?

ICV does cause it to run shit! Teust me!

Mines been doin it, valve stayed open, creting a vacuum causing it to run shite! Took it off, cleaned it with carb cleaner, runs perfect now!!!
