1.4 in 2 1lt mrk 1

hello every 1
i have a 1ltr nova at mo.
but i want 2 put the 1.4 in mulit point out of an astra!!!
how hard is it and wot is needed 2 fit it?
will it fit strat in or will it b a pig?
can any 1 help?

you'l need to change the Fuel tank, fuel lines e.t.c and fit the loom into the car.

To be honest, it's not the easiest of jobs.

Also, im not sure on this, but i think the 1ltr engine mounts are different ?

just the mounting bracket is different

the physical mount on thecar is the same

its easy enough to do if your alright with mechanics and electrics:

u will need OSF OHC engine mount
nova SRi downpipe and exhaust system (or nova gte downpipe and exhaust)
fuel tank with pump (either a GTE one or an spi one with the fuel pump from the astra dropped into it)
new fuel lines
astra engine wiring loom
nova gte/sri throttle cable
astra gearbox (or gearbox from any vx small block OHC motor)
ohc radiator and pipes
GTE/SRi heater matrix pipes

it will fit in on the original mounts bar the osf one and everything else is just a case of plumbing in, you'll need to wire the astra loom in too but theres only about 6 or 7 wires that need done
