what do the coloured dots mean at the beggining of the search results

they are guides as to how good the connection is.
green = good
yellow = ok
red = shite

if after you search, you click the button that syas connection it sorts the results for you moving red to top. click again, green now at top and thats the best(and quickest) downloads. eg t3, t1, cable, 56k in that order.
