Hi all I went over to my girlfriends and the most embracing thing happened to me.
I told her I was coming in my car and that she should listen out for a my sound system pumping, but when I got there the only thing she Hurd was my bashing on her door for my bloody car had over heated but the gauge sed it was fine. Pop open the bonnet and loads of steam comes out some was to do with oil burning off the engine, but I looked into the radiator box thing and it was empty so I filled her back up and it made a sizzling noise like it was frying eggs. But then I looked at the radiator and the fans not on ether so can you guys help me????

that looks perfectly fine to me inside the rocker cover

did u notice any loss in power or were u stuck in traffic or owt?

i had a problem with mine whereby it would boil over and spew steam everywhere and it wouldnt fire up the fan, turned out the expansion tank cap was buggered and wasnt holding any pressure

if u were just driving along normally and that happened then its prolly the gasket, but if u were stuck in traffic etc then it may just be the car has overheated due to a broken cooling fan and its boiled over

i'd try filling it up again and starting the engine, look in the header tank for bubbles if u see a constant stream its probably the gasket, if not i'd try doing a full flush and refilling it and see what happens
