Hiya, my name is Jen.

Bought a nova recently as my last car was a hazard (long story)
Its bog standard at the mo, but got big plans 4 it.

Hes an old boi so its a project, which i have just started.

im from C-sidecruisers, was advised to join a site to get ideas etc.

Obviously i am havin a lot of help with it as i dnt know the first thing bout cars, but im learnin as i go along.

Im from winchester, would be nice to know where some of you lot are from.

he means keep it a mk1 by replacing origanl parts with the same type of bits i.e. mk1 with new mk1 and keep in standard and looking sweet

Indeed. you know me too well.

Basically, if you stick a GTE/GSI/MK1 SR/SRi type body on it, then you will have no problems. Standard is the way to go, although Mk1 is the only way :wink:

Keep it basic, subtle. Personally i'd go for grey GTE bumpers and skirts, nice subtle wheels, lower it and give it a nice respray. Most colours are cool on the MK1 but some you need to stay away from. Interior wise, try all black.

Yeah, so was mine, but take a look at my pics in my profile and see what i did. But seriously, Corsa seats fit as far as i'm told and retriming the door cards is fairly easy. Dash and most of the plastic stuff can be painted. Iy'll tidy it up no end girl.

Keep it minimal - GTE bumpers, lowered and a set of soft stars or speedlines... good to start with...

Quick Note...

If your gona do a mk1 make sure its tidy, subtle and the lines work.

Bodykits rarely work on nova's, just keep it clean and keep it Mk1 :D

Now i got my nova, people sed it was a good idea to do it up so i thought it was a good chance to make it my own by gettin it pink. Sorry if its not original, but its each to their own these days. :wink:

i went to go see a body kit today, looks real nice, but has a few cracks here an there. But cant complain for that cheap price!
?120 for front an back bumpers, side skirts, bonnet, an spoiler. Also the guy thats got um is SOOOO cute!! :wink:

he has some nearly new smoked back lights for ?50. Hes saved them 4 me!!
