hi just wondering about flushed wings are thay M O T friendly cheers
I think Mk2 are legal, as you can see the front indicator from the side of the car.
I think that is what makes them MOT passable.
Whereas on a mk1 the front indicators are only visible from the front, so they would fail as no indicator viewable from the side.
can depend on the tester on if u pass or not on flush wings. best off putting some in the wing mirrors

i think the actual testing requirements are that they are visible from 1 or 2 meters out standing the rear of the vehicle facing forwards
and both mk1 and mk2 would fail this
my mot tester didnt bother tho
Either the vehicles wrap round lenses have to be e-marked to confrim to wrap around standards or from the rear of the vehicle you have to stand one metre out. If you can see the lenses flash you pass. Mk2s pass this.
My MOT bloke is very strict and mk2s do pass. Mk1s wont

thay are mk 2 wings
^ 1000mm, so yeah 1 metre. However just seeing part of the glow isn't good enough, you have to actually see proper light, the guide says "not reflection" so I would assume that to mean you have to see the indicator light up properly.
Apparently if they have an E mark with a 5 above it they should be ok.
