wires that go to the tailgate

the wires/ cables that run through the roof and lead to the tailgate, are they only there for the wiper and heated rear window on the tailgate?, i'm only asking because i don't need theses wires any more as i've got a fibre glass tailgate

i don't want to cut them off or anything, i just want to know what to do with them

yup theres a solid black for heated screen and a few wires on a yellow plug for wipersy

the screen should disconnect from the loom around the arch area and the wipers should unplug next to the relay on the rear cluster

and there's a water pipe for the squirter thinggy.
