this is my nova 1.2 well 2l 16v soon!!

this is the car when i got it

this is the car after being lower and the wheels

bye bye to the 1.2 engine

then the interior was take out

and doors,wings etc

then the car was seem welded and the inner wings,holes in the floor,both rear arches fixed ect

this was also cut out because the 2l engine will hit it

g-max shocks with 60mm springs and 40mm springs for the front
turn down pulley
de-cat stainless steel exhaust

hopefully will b resprayed n the next month and maybe the engine to

its just the discs but in calbra size.so it should fit i hope :oops:

well the engine was comin out of that nova and gettin scrapped, so we thought we'd have a bit of fun with it

so...

we drained all the colant out n filled it with all sorts includin beer, washin up liquid n a few other things

then as it started to break we cut the coling fan off so it was gonna overheat lol

then to make things more interesting we started to drop nuts n bolts into the air intake - then the noises got worse n worse - took some abuse before it cut out tho. and it started again!!! so threw more things into the engine before takin it all out n strippin the engine to see the damage

LOL, my old SR took a 4 inch piece of threaded rod from my KnN down throught the intake into cylinder number 4! I took the head off, removed the bar and put the head back on with the original gasket, and she fired up and did another 5K before i sold her!!! So yeah, those engines are strong as fook!!!

i'l have to get the pics of my cracked Piston up then! infact it wasnt just one but 2 in the end! kept covering my mates cosra C in smoke and oil on the way home from norwich one night when i knew that engine was fucked! he put full beam and foglights on and i still wasnt dazzled! :lol: :o

looking good so far fella, now seeing all these pics i can see i will have a lot of work to do! :o

ordered some more stuff

omp rollcage (coming next week)
brakes pads(come on friday)
power cup(come on friday to)

so not to much to get now :D

i payed them ?400 for the conversion kit and that was more then 3 months ago :evil:

i phone them all the time,e-mail ect and no answer!!!!! :evil: :evil:

update..... cossvaux are no more and have fuckall parts left now so ul be lucky to get your parts, looks a very nice project and alot of time and money going into it. what colour is it being painted? what have you painted your engine bay with?

iv heard about crossvaux and the car is getting painted black.the bottom of the engine bay is paintedin hammerite and the top is painted.


no got the power cap from courtny and it come with the blue pipe.

and a wee update

the cage is in now

right we have started undersealing the footwells,floor,bottom of v engine bay&all the arches

Im from dornoch russ... When you get the car running and going come through to dornoch and show the local boys here. They will be well chuffed to see a nice nova on form :lol:

the grey xr2 is my mate's new project

the 1.1 fiesta is my old every day runner now for sale

the red xr2 is my new every day runner
