I 've got a 12" kenwood sub in the back- but was thinkin bout some more bass.
Will 8" free air subs fit in the rear door cards of a nova with a little bit of modifing? Will they sound any good? Or will they sound shite and will i have to keep replacin them because back seat passengers will put there elbows through them?
Its either them or some basic probably 13 cm 2- way speakers- but i really want some bass.
Also if i'm running three amps what can i get to stop my battery draining because i got two at the moment and with out the engine runnning it lasts 20 mins until it won't start.

u could have a power cap thing which helps put power in your amp when u wack the volume up

will 8" or 6" fit in the back door cards with a piece of wood across the recess then mounted on there

plus a 1000w precision power amp (check out total vauxhall 11/01 bottom of page 103 simalar except ive got a digital display on it) and a jbl 600w amp,
dont know about the rear door cards m8 i think its easier to fit them in the front ones at the bottem, they will be hidden away so they cant get damaged where as like you said if there in the back passengers will elbow them:(

would it work if i had them facin in towards the panels?would people still be able to get in the back or would there be not enough space and would it be too emense for anybody to sit right by the back of them?

you can get a 10" on the passenger side, i saw it done in an issue of car audio from about 4 years ago.
jsut reinforce the pannel with grp and mdf then fit the sub behind mesh and cloth
you cant really fit much of anything on the drivers side due to the fuel tank/feed making the shape odd.
BEng (hons) just isnt enough, i need a Msc too!
