16. 16v help

I need some help with my conversion, has anyone on here put the 1.6 16v in there nova and if so wot do i do about belts and pas pump? my addy is psychobiker1@hotmail.com. i would be really greatful for any info on this and help.cheers ppl!Rob.

Remove the power steering pump completely as you dont want it, change the bottom pulley for a narrow belt one off a Nova GTE/GSi and then run the Nova GTE/GSi narrow belt alternator.

You can get round it the other way but this is the easiest.

u need a late GSi or 1.4 sri bottom pulley (or one from a corsa sri 8v or mpi astra 8v) with crank sensor teeth and i'd advise getting the alternator of the same car as they dont line up right if u use a normal alternator
