is it the same size?

im sure 1400 flys are smaller and if so the starter wont alight and gearbox prolly wont fit either

when i had the 1300sr i tryed putting the flywheel on the engine and it was 2small the starter was miles out. so i thought i would use the 1400 flywheel and sr gearbox. wrong the gear box would not go ova the flywheel!!!

im sure when i got the engine/gearbox the bloke said the gearbox would fit a 1600!!!

i want to get a 2nd flywheel so i can get it light/bal. any infomation would be a gr8 help

1200 1300 and 1400 all had the same flywheels

only the 1600's had the larger flywheel and the F13 box

so that would mean a 1600 flywheel wont fit streight onto a 1400 engine as the starter wont line up and if the 1400 currently has an F10 it wont fit either

i had a 1300sr engine and gearbox, the bottom seals went, so i brought a 1400 engine ( from a p or r reg astra):

1400 engine: tryed putting the 1300sr box and fly on 1400 engine flywheel was to small the starter would not hit flywheel.
Put 1400 flywheel on and then put 1300 box on, but fly wheel was to big for box!!

Ended up using 1400 fly and box. as the 1300sr box fly would not fit.

sri engines from engine code 2T39567 onwards had larger flywheels accoring to EPC

sr and spi engines all had the smaller fly
