4 channel amps

I have posted a thingy about having 4 6x9s, i neglected to mention i have 2 speakers in the front too, i was just wondering if i need 4 inputs to get 4 outputs in a 4 channel amp? coz i wanna hook up 4 speakers to 2 channels

get a pair of RCA splitters so you can run 4 channels off 2 lines
