My first real post here... I'm in the process of buying a K regd Merit TD, which I intend to spend a few quid on to get 'right'.
Can anyone make any recomendations for a decent head unit that has Sat Nav and can accomodate an iPod (via direct connection, or plug in interface type)?
I'm looking toward the new cheap Blaupunkt nav head unit, and I notice they do an iPod connection for all their recent head units.
Does anyone have experience of the Blaupunkt nav head units? Are they good? Don't want to spend crazy money, but a screen of better quality to the Blaupunkt head unit variants would be nice.
I'm returning to my roots, BTW. Drove a red H plate TD for 5 years from '97 to '02. Been in 2 new MINI's since, my current one having loads and loads of spec (including factory nav). Decided to tighten the purse strings a bit though, hence the return of TD Nova! ;)
