alrite guys-- im thinking of going for a new backbox here very soon and woz looking 4 sugestions-

my cars running a sri corsa engine and home made induction kit
and a silly fartbox at the back[ i think possibly an ashley or something] but the baffles are beat rite out of it

i want something a bit quieter but still sounds sweet when you give it the boot and with a 3 or 3 1/2 inch tailpipe if possible

any suggestions??????????????

Mongoose system, nice and quiet, deep rumble more than anything and it's a 3 1/2" inwardly rolled tailpipe.

ouch-------- sounds good- but way 2 expensive 4 my car--

its only really a back box im after-- one of my mates suggested a janspeed - he said he had 1 a few years ago on his 14sr and it wozent 2 noisey when driving normally

best of all he reckoned he only give 70 quid brand new for it--

ive seen a few different boxes in the classifieds and e-bay etc but as i say im looking 4 opinions on different ones if possible :D

Ste isn't that the Ashley system? If so then that's what he's already got!

Shy Witness - keep an eye on eBay for a Mongoose one, they only sell them as a full system for Nova's but you might get a cheap one off there if you're lucky.

Shy, try Powerflow, They'll make you whatever you want, and its all SS, not too badly priced either I got an Upswept oval one for my Nova with a full straight through system for e350, but they'll make a back box no Probblem. Callaghans of Burt here in Donegal do them, not too sure how far that is from you though

Also, did you try the Pace Notes Rally Paper? There's all kinds of stuff in there, Seems Nova's are as popular in Rallying now than Ever!!

only way is Bastuck?

only supplied by regal and expensive but they sounds so good, 4:2:1 system, straight through. they usually advertise prices in total vauxhall.

Most magnex's are quiet, but they are great quality.
I would recomment Sportex or Ashley for cheap and loud.
