1.2 carb

i've got a 1.2 carb and want a induction roar out of it.heard that the bolt on k+n makes the car idle badly. what can i do?cheers

For an 'induction roar' just drill your airbox (in the right places), there's a post about it a couple down.

Just out of interest, if you have a 1.2 carb, why is your username GSI19??

i got a 1.2 carb with a bolt on k+n and it sounds sweet, sounds brilliant in every gear.

also got a 1.2 carb nova my k+n is very silent till you hit about 3000rpm then it gives off a very noticeable roar it dont idle badly at all.

If you want louder induction noise, get a weber 32/34 carb, when the second barrel opens it really roars :)
