those of you who read a previous thread know that im fitting an alarm.

Need to work out what is what for remote c.locking as the way I have currently wired it keeps blowing the fuse on the live power supply.

I need to know what the 3 wires from my central locking motor do in order to get the wires the right way round.

the 3 wires are:

brown
brown/red
brown/white

please let me know as this is the last thing on the list

Cheers

IIRC
Novas don't have a solenoid in the drivers door for central locking.
So you can't use the remote locking feature until you fit a solenoid to the drivers door.
Nova central locking uses the drivers key to lock the drivers door, and then a solenoid to lock the passenger door. You need solenoids in both, to use remote locking.

Hi mate thanx for the reply.

My nova didnt come with central locking as standard I fitted it with a kit I got off someone.

I have the same equipment in both doors. One of these in both doors:

What I wanted to really know is what each wire does coz I think I have wired it wrong and I keep blowing fuses on the alarm loom connected to the c.locking. So far I have managed to get the passenger side working.

Thanx for your help mate
