I don't know how'd you wire it up or whether you could get something more suitable,
but i would have said you'd need some sort of resistorfor the bass control

(although i'm sure that head unit would have a control of its own in the menu?? my jvc one does?)

have you checked the remotes got batterys sounds stupid but ya never know lol

doesn't the cd changer just plug into the back of the head unit? afaik theres a din plug in the back of mine i would assume if yours can run a cd changer it would use the same. (definately a multi pin plug u'll need though)

ill test the remote on r kids kenwood hu
but as far as im aware theres no ir point on my hu

same as there is no socket on my hu for the multi changer i just read in the instructions thats its a option to add one ill have to delve further in my call round at the local ice shop

what your going to be afer is a variable resistor and a potentiometer in a box that will feed of the rca output of you hu mate. i'll have a think as i know all the circutry for mono applications. i'll try and adapt it to stereo.

are you just running your sub of the rca or is it feeding multiple amps?

am running two amps the rcs leads are fed from the hu
but the hu only has one pre out so i have a rca splitter in place

shoot down to motorwold epo and they'll do a little box with a knob and phonos in and out on it plug one end in the h u and other to an amp, set it to the centre adjust your amp gain so it sounds good then you can turn it up to above std ctre to allow for a higher gain or down to below centre for a lower gain

any q's ask away mate
