French car show :)

went to the FCS on sunday at Bruntingthorpe to show 'em how its really done :twisted: Think my car got more attention than all the rally cars on the stand that my car was on 8)

Also i thought it'd be rude to not make use of the 0-60 and 1/4 mile equipment. I managed a not to shabby 14.135 1/4 mile and a French car slaying 5.36 0-60. and thats with 4-year old rock-hard yoko A539'! :D

Should hopefully break into the 13's at PVS and hopefully into the 4's on the 0-60 at Trax when i've got my cut-slicks on and saved some more weight :twisted:

I'm hoping to get back to Trax this year and see what I can get My 0-60 down to. Managed a 5.51 last year with my old 8v engine, but as You know My car will be lighter this year :lol: and I've got more power and lower gearing 8)

just checked the results page for overall 0-60 and 1/4 mile times at the show and i came 5th overall for 0-60 and 7th for 1/4 mile time :D :D 8)

yeah i watched ur 5.34 sec 0-60 from the sides- all my mates were like 'WOW; that a stripped out 2.0 turbo nitrous injection throttle body nova?'..lol. nah mate 1.6. 0-60 times seemed to bit quick for most; qtr mile times were more accurate i thought. ok show - fav car (bar all std looking renault 5's) was a mint pug 309 gti goodwood absolutely on its batty with some tidy quad headlamps up front.

Just seen an in-car video clip from this event, from a car going round the track... there's people wandering about on the track!!
