Neons for bootbuild

Right.. ive a 12inch Neon Crackling Bar.. which moves to the beat of music or can constantly stay on... its for my false floor most likely... how would I go about wiring it to power it? or where would I power it to...its 12 vault, its used for the fag lighters... but i dont want the hassele off it having to be put into the fag lighter to turn it on.. i want it just to go on whenever the car is started... suggestions welcome

remote wire on the head unit, to the live on the neon and just earth the neon somewhere, it will come on everytime you turn your HU on

or perminant live from your battery fuse the wire then into a switch where ever you want it
then from the switch to the live of your neon
then earth the neon off your amp of or off the boot floor

or put it in on a permlive earthed to boot, but put a solenoid in controlled by the amp's rem terminal
