diy fiiting n running carbs

i need a rough guide how 2 fit dellertos twin 40 to nova 1.4 j reg
an get it to run ok in adiy fashion cant afford 2 get em set up properly at the minute they r jetted for 1.3 sr

tbh unless they are jetted for a 1400 nova engine then your gonna risk damaging it by fitting them as they are

wait until u can afford to have them setup correctly and then get them sorted

which is not a 1400...

u can stick them on if u want but when u'r lookin at bits of melted/broken engine then you'll have wanted to wait and have it done properly

It will also depend what engine you have, if its an SPI
then you may need fuel pressure regulator etc.
So more cost

they r off a 1.3 sr i wanna put em on 1.4 sr hva fuel reg an alternator bracket if a balance em using a balanceing from a car spares shop then all need 2 do is get mixture some were near ?

f16 emulsion tube, 115 mains , 180 air , 45f9 idle will get you going (30mm choke).

Unless you have a mad cam- then change the airs to 160 to correct top end fuelling.

what will the spec of these be as they r for 1.3 i guess choke will be 28 -30 mm what about the rest
