16 Valve conversion Van/GSI/GTE

Please can anybody tell me which is the best model to base my 16 Valve converson on i have been told the van is slightly stronger is this true.

Not sure about that like mate, the gte/gsi was built for a performance engine, stronger strut tops etc i would go for the gte/gsi for a conversion.

GTE/GSi and TD have stronger steel in engine bay

car/van makes no difference, TD vans will be the same as a GSi for instance, 1.2 van is the same as a 1.2 hatch

but i'd much rather have an immaculate mint condition 1.2 shell than a semi rotten GTE one if u get me?

this day in age finding a mint shell is far more important than finding a particular model of shell, and i'd recommend stitch welding the bay on all novas anyway
