water pipe help

right then ive just out the gte lump in me 1L lol and bit confused with a couple of the connections

in the red we have the plastic pipe doofry bit lol
in the blue is the random thing on the bottom of the inlet
and green and yellow are heater matrix

so what goes where??

does the 1600 have a water pipe dooberry on teh side of the head under the dizzy?

im thinking it doesnt actually matter which way the water flows round the matrix so they can go either way
