i know the astra didgi dash needs a transducer to work, but can u use the road speed sensor thats already on the 1.2 and 1.4 spi gear box's

i am not sure, i have an astra digi dash and i was told it was very important to get a transducer that matched the digi dash for it to work properly, also the wiring in of the digi-dash can sometimes be a bit of a pain. if i was you i would buy a digi-dash that already has its matching transducer and fit that one, its extremeley easy anyway it only takes 5 minutes. hope this helps.

the only propblem is that the speed sensor that is on the gear box is needed for the ecu, so u cant exactly replace it. so if there is any one on here who has done it on a 1.2spi or 1.4 spi nova could u please tell me

im using a 1.2i sender for my dash

it will only work on 8v tick type dashes tho as the pulses are different on the 16v round dash

if its a 16v u can just screw the astra sender on top of the nova ecu one as unlike the astra one the nova one has a passthru for the drive

so if its an 8v dash just take a feed from blue/red wire at the ecu
if its a 16v then u just need to stick the astra sender ontop of the nova one
