You have any joy Steve? I know a lad that stuck a MK2 Escort weld in Brace in the rear, looks well and its adjustable too.

surely its just a piece of thick piping with the end flattened and then drilled through so it sits on the top of the suspensioon tops???

You could make one?

The front strut brace is a little more daunting - the back ones just a straight bar.

its something i thought about when i had my nova
although i was going to make a front one
but make a templet out of 20mm plastic tube stolen from work and bend it into shape with a bending spring

If you want to attach harnesses to it DONT use the flattened ends over the shocks method, in the event of a crash the pull on the harnesses will more than likely just rip the bar off the dampers. The best way to do it is to mount the bar a little lower, between the arches with 3-4mm plates welded to the ends which bolt through the inner arch. Joff has done his this way, I'll find the pic.

The Mk2 Escort Front set up is just like that and probably works out cheaper to do. And as far as i know, its a perfect fit too.
