Hi this problem is not with a nova but when i had my old nova u was all so helpfull that i thought i would give u a try again.
I have just brought a xr3i and my reversing lights wont work
i have checked bulbs and fuses and they all fine
any ideas wat it could be

if all of the other lights work ok then it is not an earth problem, so you should have a look on the gearbox for the reversing light switch, it could have a loose or corroded terminal, or the innards might be worn. won't be expensive to buy a new one

Funnily enough, my dad had a mk3 escort, and the reverse lights wouldn't work on that unless you pushed the gear lever more into the reverse position if you get me.
If you put it in reverse and then let go of the lever, there would be no reverse lights, but push the stick further and hold it there, and the reverse lights worked :?
