wow, what a day. the gte took a proper battering, it was bouncing off the limiter all day. started off wet and it was a waste of time as the car was that poor. but when the sun came out i got the slick on and the fun started. the turn-in on slicks is unbelivable. and the extra grip also showed how good the brakes are. i was in the grass all day long and i even got some air, i was told the back wheel was 2 foot off the ground. lol

i have a few pics and a few vids but not all that many. i will get them up later.

there is another day coming up soon so make sure your all there.

big thanks to Matt from PVG for sorting it all out and to the 4 other lads who made the effort to turn up.

Excellent day out. Good to see a few familiar faces and have a laugh.

When we first arrived it was, shall we say, wet to say the least. In true fashion myself and chris went out for some understeer tastic fun which rapidly turned into some proper abuse of the diff by drifting the car on the bottom hairpin amongst other bits :D . As the track dried the tyres started coming into their own with fantastic grip, although the rears took abit longer than expected due to a still damp track which meant loosing the rear on the S bend and drifting it around that a couple of times also  . By the end of the day and mucho abuse the fronts are worse for wear, but suprisingly so were the rears so getting heat into them on a dry track proved not a problem lol. (i'll put some pics in the pic thread of them about halfway through).

Funniest part of the day............ travelling 100 odd miles to curburough, raping the car all day long, driving home then having 5th gear mash itself 4 miles from my house pmsl. luckily AA were very quick and soon sorted me a flatbed to get me home :D
