ai a mates got a centre exit on his ,

had to cut out the wheel well and replace it with a flat sheet and have the exhaust rerouted n bracketed to fit professionally ..

not that bad if u can weld etc etc but may cost u some if u get a shop to do it ..

I have seen a pipe bent around the spare wheel well, but it was very tight and I'm not sure it helped getting the gases out of the car.

I had my spare wheel well removed by a bodyshop. They welded a piece of metal in place and also strengthend underneath.

yep, as said i'd invest in some strengthening.

As a well, it provides alot more structure to the boot floor, replacing it with a welded sheet of metal is significantly weakening the structure between the rear arches.

Also as jim said about bending pipes round the well, i think you'd encounter some problems with it knocking by doing that, the worse thing you'd want is two pipes tapping against the wheel well.
