well after all these years and a lot of time effourt and money the nova was sold today for a measily 1700 quid. felt gutted cleaning it today just before it went. here are some pics of it just before it was picked up.

i beleive its a k plate...

its got 300bhp tho with a hks ceramic turbo on it :twisted:

i think i prob would still have it if i had left it stripped and caged with my 8v in it, but it got boring with the interior and the horrid noise that the XE makes compared to the bark of my old carbs,

yeah the impreza will be 300 bhp when its got a new intercooler and has been remapped. but its running standard boost at the mo so is probably more like 260 280

i'l agree with ste on this one.

no offence, but they're as common as muck now, every post-saxo owner round here are buying up all the imprezas.

Shame cos they're a nice car, just getting a repuation now.

thankyou. they will destroy any saxo in whatever shape or form they are.

and after driving the impreza its deffo faster than the xe nova.

the one im getting is costing me 4k and is in red. it does not look like your typical Boy racer impreza either. itll have the rally slag look done to it too

and i'm sure the boxer engine rumble will keep smile on your face

lol thats one of the first things ill be changing on the impreza. im getting an equal length exhaust manifold which makes it sound like a revy cav turbo lol.

and i will also be getting a front mounted intercooler so i can safely up the boost on the huge HKS turbo it has already got fitted.

i just want a reliable 300bhp from it and to make it handle well. ill be happy with that.

Can't say I like Imprezas, being a GT4 owner and all :wink: but I do prefer the K reg shape, and tbh I probably wouldn't turn one down if the price was right!

Not any more! The early ones were good but aside from that they're not so good any more... very much overshadowed by the 206 and, at the moment, the Xsara

to a limmit. you can only drive as hard as the car will allow. so if the impreza is a better handling and faster car than another then the same driver will be faster in the impreza :wink:
