few q's about my car

I have a nova diamond. its a mark 1,and i have just baught a GTE front bumper and GTE grille for it.my car is electric blue. i was going to have the bumpers sprayed matt black,and the skirts black (vinyl i was thinking) and spray the grille same colour as the car - wheels at the momment are the 3 spoke nova gte/gsi alloys.... was going to change those at a later time... what does everyone think of the blue with black bumpers and black skrts? like basically a two tone thing going on....

i think it will look good and not so common :?

that's a two tone photoshop of seans i have just done, but in anthracite grey bumpers.

looks much better in real life, good shine from it, altough u can't see it in the pic. Straight Grey 2 pac paint, did'nt pay ?38 for a litre of primer now.

I had a GSI and a GSI Wide mouth (right to the top wide mouth) front bumpers and binned them for the std grey items, might get an Origional Grey GSi item soon when funds are better but there'll be no colour coding. I say do it mate, it'll look A1.

Thats what my GSi Wide mouth looked like, but with less fillers and all the origional lines on it. You need an intercooler or something like that behind oit or it doesn't look right though.

to be honest that bigmouth bumper looks more like a modded abyss bumper. I like the orginal bigmouth as there is a good depth in air duct, whereas some other sit flush

well its an original gsi big mouthed and smoothed so your mistaken :wink:

Yeah but the mouth is huge and no depth (dish?) in the air duct, just my opinion (sp?) the orignal style is much better with all the lines not smoothed and deep airduct, i think it suits the style of the nova. The orginal Gsi bumper it great, and i think the orginal style wide mouthed gsi bumper is even better. I'm not trying to cut you down any, just giving my opinion

I was planning on keeping the original lines etc but when i was looking to buy a bumper this one came up already smoothed and big mouthed so I bought it to save me a job

It would of looked like this if had kept them, same cooler, same bumper just with the original lines

Know this? I make my car a shiny and as clean looking as that but it takea a whole weekend and i reckon i only do it twice a year, pitty it wouldn't stay that clean though!! :lol:
