which carb do i use?

hi all i am a bit new to the nova scene so i could do with a bit of tech help with my latest projectwhich is a 2ltr 8 valve sri conversion.
what i need to know is what is the best carb to use as i am not sure what one to use :?
any help would be appreciated :D

the sri 2ltr engine is multi point injection orginally. And it goes very well on it. If your looking to change to carb, then nothing less than twin 45s will do. As far as i know, NO 2ltr ohc engine vauxhall made was carb fuelled, all injection. I don't know if you could use 40s instead of 45s though (i doubt it, not enough breathing for higher revs), you'll have to ask someone here.

i was thinking of a 48 sidedraft but thought i would ask on here first as i thought someone must have used this or something similar.

Have u got the manifold for the single 48? I imagine they would be incredibly hard to find

thats what was on there before so i guess it will still be there as i am picking up the engine tmrw afternoon.
