Lol
If its custom then no one will be able to really help you.
First of all:-
Decide what you want, how many subs etc etc

Then do a rough drawing of how you want it to look.

Then work out how big everything is going to be, using scale drawings etc

Now is the hardest part, making the dreams become reality
which invloves a lot of fibreglass/filler etc.

Na, use MDF sheets, a bit of 6 or 9mm should safice and is really handy to use, then carpet it or like Long Live says, filler it to smooth it over. Best bet IMO is to make it so its removable for long journeys or for carrying corpses. I had a 18 stone body in my boot the last day, would have been tight with a sub and amp!!

see sticky at the top of styling for ideas on how to do boot install.

This covers the side pods that go over the wheel arches for decent woofers.

All you then need is a set of good 6x9's in a custom parcel shelf (MDF one) and a place to mount the amp etc to power it.

Theres also a false floor post somewhere - try www.nova-land.co.uk

i'd say go thicker on the mdf, more like 15 or 18mm. as it will flex less under the bass pressure, this'll give you deeper and more powerfull bass

altho thicker means heavier?

yeah but if shes intending on doing a boot buildi don't think the cars gona be racing so weight isn't really gonna matter that much??
